Facebook stats are like crack when you first get a hold of them.
The Flyers Pro application lets you do some deep digging on Facebook user stats.
Here are a few things unearthed today just playing around with Canadian Stats on Facebook;

2.5+million users over 30
1+ million users over 40
377,160 people in Edmonton, AB.

17100 of Canadians say they like the Barenaked Ladies.
5320 like Celine Dion.
117,200 people in Canada who like The Beatles.

I found out that Liberal Men from age 40-50 are three times as likely to be Harry Potter fans then Conservatives (280 Vs. 100).
Thank you, Facebok Flyer!

Indeed… I must say off the top; I wish we could one day do away with the tired old and completely useless linear political spectrum…
Anyhow… in search of MY demographic on Facebook, there are:
5,200 – conservative men between 40 and 45 years old who are married in the United States.
NONE – like the Velvet Underground
NONE – like Trance
NONE – like Edith Piaf
NONE – liked “The Big Lebowski”
NONE – like the New York Yankees
NONE – are sailors
Removing the “conservative” designation we found 180 or so who liked “The Big Lebowski”.
Taking a different tack…
There are now 701,880 New Yorkers on Facebook and 1,618,060 Torontonian’s [a number that becomes more and more suspicious as it approaches 2,481,494]
Facebook New Yorkers who like Trance: 2,480
Facebook Torontonions who like Trance: 8,140
No Surprise New York Facebookers prefer Hip-Hop: 25,640 as do Toronto Facebookers: 53,300
1,300 Toronto Facebookers admit to liking Emo, where only 600 NYC Facebookers would do the same.
Male, NYC, 40-45: 3,480
Male, Toronto, 40-45: 21,000
Male, NYC, 15-18: 42,000
Male, Toronto, 15-18: 120,460

Radical Don’t [???] – launch a new suite of advertising tools and make the old suite virtually disappear. – My fault for not transferring numbers generated from two weeks of testing to a spreadsheet… but one would think Facebook would warn folks that they are about to do away with Flyers.
[BTW- Lots of impressions; an adequate click rate - no sales yet]
Onward…
Oh, I hope you don’t suffer facebook Stats withdrawal to desperately.

Nevermind… BUT; here we go. It looks as though we’re about to find out what happens to Facebook as they ‘open’ there doors to advertisers.
Will it be another MySpace catastrophe?
