Radicaltrust.ca is thrilled to announce that I (Collin Douma) have teamed up with the Social Media Group.
As you know, SMG is co-founded by the incredibly talented Maggie Fox. Over the last year, SMG has had tremendous success, not only being the first dedicated social media agency in Canada, but also by consistently creating and delivering social media with some big time clients like Ford in the US!
I am ecstatic about this alliance and look forward to a very bright future working with Maggie and the rest of the SMG team!
I will be working out of a newly claimed office in Orangeville, unofficially christened ‘SMG North’ and down at SMG HQ in historic Dundas Ontario!
Stop by and say hello! Contact me at the Social Media Group at 905-628-4978 ex25 or try your luck on my mobile, 416.500.6972 or my work email collin at socialmediagroup ca
In related news, we’re actively hiring people interested in working in this space and who deeply and completely understand it. At the moment there are no set roles – we’re going to throw the invitation to get in touch out there and see what you throw back. To find out more, please email me or maggie at socialmedia group ca or give her a ring at 905-975-5568.
Social Media is born, it takes a community to raise a child.
Let’s keep talking!

Colin,
Congrats, man… it takes character to step away from a stable job and do what you’re really passionate about.
The social media revolution just got a lot stronger.

You rock. Even though I wish you worked with me. Which would be awesome if our job was drinking expensive beer at the Spoke Club and talking about music and podcasts we’ve never launched.
seriously, congrats. Kick some ass and don’t forget us little people slaving away under the boot of the multi-national agencies.

Canadian social media stars align…
It was a cool idea when Joe Jaffe founded crayon with a plethora of U.S.-based social media thought-leaders that included the inimitable CC Chapman, infatiguable Shel Holtz and the insatiable Neville Hobson. It was a sign of some sort of coming apocal…

Congrats Collin!!! – It would be a tad cliche for me to say how happy I am to see you bustin’ out!!! But, si, I have a huge smile on my face!
Of course we’ll have to wait and see what the Curmudgeon has to say about all this; he’s around here somewhere …
The only negative thing about this is that your office being located in Dundas, on top of your living in the schtix, continues to add fire to the “why do people live in cities at all…” argument.
Oh and a Tip… from personal experience: Whilst you zoom, don’t wiat until its ALMOST absolutely too late to have babies. (( )) to D.
